I had the most incredible time completing my 200 hours yoga teacher training in Shambhala. Our 2 teachers were such knowledgeable and generous souls. Andrea is always having a smile on her face! I was able to start teaching immediately after completing this course as I learned so much and really built my confidence under their tutelage. It is a magical experience as being in small groups you create a connection with everybody that cant be described with words.
The place has a magic energy that is felt from the moment you enter it and start walking the stairs down, you will feel at home since day number 1! It is a paradise, specially in this corona crazy times.
Something I really enjoyed is the time we spent cooking together, creating a community and building a beautiful relationship with the other students. One of the best months of my life 🤗

This review has been a long time coming! Completing the 200HR Vinyasa Yoga Teaching program at Shambhala was life changing to say the least. Andrea & Ronny have cultivated a sacred place for learning and growing in their beautifully stunning and peaceful property. If you brace yourself for stepping into the new, I am certain you will thrive. Honestly, it’s a tight schedule with 6am starts and 3 hours of yoga a day with lectures wedged in-between, not to mention self study time & cooking your own 3 meals a day. So the first few days can be a shock to your body, but just trust the process and know that you are in VERY safe hands. Your body will feel sore and your brain will be drained from information overload but once you adjust, it is honestly the most healing & inspiring experiences. Definitely a healthy challenge! Andrea has structured this teacher training in a way that has everyone not only learning what it takes to be an authentic yoga teacher, but also what it means to live like a true yogi. Fresh Vegetarian food sustainably sourced is provided each day and you cook all together, creating community & connection amongst your fellow yogis- this was one of my favourite parts of the course! There is an incredible masseuse who is an excellent massage therapist & reiki space holder who takes regular appointments next door to the main school at a reasonable price. Andrea has 2 adorable dogs and a big garden area with incredible plant life to enjoy and there is also a sauna next to the swimming pool. We also got to participate in some incredible sound baths run by some of Andrea’s friends in the community. You also get one day off a week which is a great time to swim in the local beach or go hiking in the beautiful mountains- however, it is not a retreat! You can enjoy the restorative things I pointed out previously, but only during the bursts of breaks you receive…like your day off or after self study time in the evening…remember you’re here to work hard. Discipline yourself to retain the yoga philosophy & anatomy knowledge as-well has finding new edges to push yourself physically so you can expand and evolve.
During my time in Shambhala, I felt so supported each day by Andrea and our Yoga teacher Mira. Both of these women guided our group with such grace, intelligence & fun! I really owe it to Andrea for building this yoga school with such authenticity & sanctity. It’s been 6 months since I completed my training, and I use so many of the tools I was taught in my day to day life, such as chanting, pranayama breathing & Ashtanga Yoga Mysor. Forever grateful for this experience and the medicine offered by this community. Thank you, thank you & Gracias Gracias!!!! 🙏

Shambhala was the best place I could have chosen to experience the 200h TTC. There are plenty all over the world but luckily I found this one. I learned a lot from Andrea and Vicky, not only for teaching yoga but also personally. It really felt like home and you could feel, that they do everything by heart. Other than that Shambhala itself, the rooms, the garden and Shala are beautiful. All in all I highly recommend this special place and would always come back ✨

The 200h YTT was magical and unforgettable. I felt so comfortable and safe from the first day. Shambhala radiates a welcoming and unique aura. The yoga teachers Vicky, Maya and Karma Yogi Sylvi are all so loving and helpful. The yoga and theory lessons were very interesting and structured. I learned a lot from them, for which I will always be grateful.❤️

I’ve had the most fulfilling three weeks here doing my 200 hours TTC. You always have small groups and the place itself is absolutely lovely but even more important the teachers are the absolute best! They will meet you where you’re at, give you individual feedback and support, care about you as a person and are just the most loving, warmhearted people ever! It was an experience that I’ll treasure forever and that has definitely impacted my life for the better!

Shambhala Yoga School is a very special place. If you are reading this I would encourage you to trust yourself and book it.
It exceeded my expectations in every way. A place of growth, laughter, love, learning, healing and discovery.
Delicious vegan food, exceptionally teaching in vinyasa and hatha as well as many other styles, beautifully clean and maintained.
I can't recommend Shambhala enough, it is situated in the most beautiful location with private pool and gardens with the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
Thank you to everyone there! Forever grateful and I will be back.

I really enjoyed my experience at Shambhala yoga school and would absolutely recommend it! The yoga teacher training at Shambhala is so much more than just learning about yoga and teaching. Their groups are small, so they really take the time to personally get to know each student and help them grow and become a better version of themselves. I completed the 200RYT training in May/June 2023 and below are some of the things that stood out to me:
- Small groups sizes (it was only 6 of us)!
- Cozy rooms and beautiful views
- We cooked our own meals but the kitchen was always stocked with delicious and seasonal foods
- Open-minded, patient, and always positive attitude from our lead teacher Vicki
- Support and encouragement to step out of our comfort zone (I was new to teaching so this was so helpful!)
- Genuine care and compassion for each student from ALL Shambhala staff
We also had a very difficult and unpleasant situation with one of the students who ended up leaving early. I can only say positive things about how Andrea handled the situation. Giving the student every chance to succeed, always with a smile on her face, always kind and graceful. Throughout the training I felt that Andrea had all students' best interest at heart, even through difficult conversations and situations. I could not be happier about my decision to complete my yoga teacher training at Shambhala yoga school!
